Does it hurt?
No. There may be some discomfort because of an injury to the muscle, Inflamed and strained muscles may feel sore after or during a treatment. The overall effect is to help you feel more relaxed and pain free!
Are your therapists registered?
Yes, our massage therapists are registered and we direct bill on your behalf to most insurance companies.
Do I have to be in pain to have a massage?
No, massage therapy is beneficial when you have pain, but it is just as beneficial when you have no current symptoms.
Do I have to get undressed?
To obtain the maximum benefit from the massage it is best to undress to your comfort level. You are covered by a sheet and blanket and the therapists are very professional and keep it as discreet as possible by only exposing the direct area they are treating.
Do I need a Doctor's prescription?
Some insurance companies require a note from your physician and/or chiropractor explaining why massage has been recommended.
How long does a massage last?
We offer visits ranging from 30 minutes to 90 minute massages.
The first visit is recommended to be one hour( 60mins) so the massage therapist can determine the best treatment for your specific concern.
If I am pregnant, can I still have a massage?
Yes, massage is recommended to help women whom suffer from lower back pain, neck pain or sciatica while pregnant. Massage can help relax the muscles that support the spine which will allow the baby to move and grow with more ease.
